APA/AKA Greek Keepsake Boxes

Once again I've done some more Greek boxes. Here are Alpha Phi Alpha and Alpha Kappa Alpha. This was the first time that I did a masculine box. I really loved the way that it turned out.

Aluminum Foil Keepsake boxes

Hello everyone! Here are some custom boxes for a co-worker of my close friend. Each box is uniquely made. I used heavy duty aluminum foil, and die cuts from Tim Holtz line of dies.

Baby Shower Diaper Cakes

My friend is expecting fraternal twins next month. I decided to give the one thing that she'll need the most besides food....DIAPERS! I bought a box of a little over 100 and made these two diaper cakes. For the girl, the theme was more girly with flowers, ribbons, and my own hand crochet flowers. For the boy, I went for a diaper pal theme with "dirty diaper and wipe" and all. I used "Boys will be boys" paper and made the pal, and used the lid of a cookie tin to make the top. My friend said it was interesting and really loved the idea.

DST Greek Box #2

Here's another keepsake/storage box using the same technique as the previous box. I used some of the same embellishments. I also created an envelope that actually holds a note. I've added some beads around the flowers for a little elegant touch.

DST Greek Keepsake Box

Here is a box that I created for someone that will be giving this away as part of a gift. The box is 9"x9"x9". It took one can of spray paint to cover two boxes. I also used black webbing spray paint to create the webbing textured background. I used lace, flowers, flowers, cardstock and other embellishments to create the look of the lid. UTEE was used to give the acrylic appearance of the plaque on the front of the box. Feel free to comment.

Altered Notebook

This project started with my friend doing it, but all she did was added the glitter paper and patterned paper using the decorative and keyhole dies. Since she wasn't able to finish it I decided to add handmade flowers, weathered clock cut-outs, and medallion with wording.

Before it was finished (by me) it sat in my craft area for at least a month. So, I told myself "it had to go"

My first group ATC Swap!!!...yay!

Queenbeescreations (Angie) hosted a Pick 3 ATC Swap. The themes were Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I enjoyed making all of these cards. I really look forward to making more, while making new friends.

I had to create my own image on this card. I used some embossed background paper, tissue paper,ribbons, a feather, color pencils, turpinoid, coloring stump, dimensional tape and a water pebble.
